Role Overview:
The Business Developer is responsible for identifying and acquiring new homeowners for our vacation rental management program. This role includes handling landlords, updating the HubSpot CRM in accordance with company procedures, completing tasks on time, and ensuring prompt responses and follow-ups to leads. The Business Developer will also record all updates accurately and timely.
Job Responsibilities:
Homeowner Acquisition:
- Identify and acquire new homeowners to join our vacation rental management program.
- Search for, contact, meet, present to, negotiate with, and close contracts with potential landlords.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively engage with homeowners through phone calls, in-person meetings, and emails to meet recruitment targets.
CRM and System Updates:
- Update the HubSpot CRM accurately and timely as per company procedures.
- Record all recruitment activities and interactions with homeowners in our PMS (Property Management System), ensuring a high degree of accuracy and clear visibility of results and the current recruitment pipeline.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
- Convert direct inquiries and applications through focused follow-up activities.
Coordination and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the seamless onboarding and management of new homeowners.
- Coordinate property onboarding, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and professionally.
Communication and Reporting:
- Communicate and update homeowners on any changes to their property status.
- Report all activities and progress to management in a timely manner.
- Ensure all tasks are completed on time, maintaining a high standard of professionalism in all interactions.
Retention and Upselling:
- Actively work to retain landlords who are not satisfied, providing solutions to their issues and improving their experience with our services.
- Upsell additional services such as interior design packages, maintenance packages, and other value-added services to homeowners, enhancing their properties and increasing satisfaction.
